The Chamber is pleased to welcome Sen. Linda Holmes to the next session of roundtable discussions with members of the General Assembly on Friday, Feb. 22 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Chamber’s Conference Room A, Suite 375 in the Main Street Promenade.
Members are invited to attend the luncheon and will have the opportunity to speak with Holmes in an effort to express their concerns and share in a dialogue regarding how best to serve the needs of businesses, as well as receive the latest update from Springfield.
Holmes has been in the Illinois Senate since 2007 and previously served on the Kane County Board. In the Senate, Holmes serves on Local Government and Agriculture and Conservation committees, is vice-chair of the Labor and Commerce committee and is chair of the Environment Committee.
Holmes has been a tireless champion for Edward Hospital and voted against SB 282, which would have required companies to publicly disclose confidential tax information.
Illinois Senate District 42 is compromised of parts of DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will counties, including a portion of western Naperville.
The luncheon will take place at the Chamber offices, located at 55 S. Main Street, Suite 373. In order to help us plan, we ask that you please preregister.
