My deepest apologies, but I am writing to you today to let you know that the Monday, Feb. 13 luncheon featuring Chicago Cubs Chairman, Tom Ricketts, has been rescheduled. A death in the family requires Tom to be out of town on Monday, and he sends along his sincerest regrets. He appreciates the great interest you had in the presentation and is eager to visit with the Chamber in a few weeks.
This special luncheon will now take place on Monday, Mar. 19, from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville. Please forward this note to any guests you invited to the event and send along our regrets.
All existing registrations will be automatically transferred to the Monday, Mar. 19 event.
If the rescheduled luncheon date will not work for your schedule, we will promptly issue you a refund.

About Tom Ricketts
Tom Ricketts is chairman of the Chicago Cubs and chairman of Incapital LLC, a Chicago investment bank specializing in packaging corporate bonds.
In January 2009, the Ricketts family was the winning bidder for the Chicago Cubs, and Tom assumed the position of chairman in October of that year. He serves on the team's board with his siblings.
In 1999, he co-founded Incapital LLC, with offices now in Boca Raton, Fla., and London. Before that, he worked at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a vice president in the brokerage division, where he pioneered using the Internet to help companies sell bonds to retail investors. He also worked at Mesirow Financial Holdings Inc. and was a market maker at the Chicago Board Options Exchange for several years.
He graduated from the University of Chicago in 1988 and received his master's of business administration from the school in 1993. Tom was honored with the Distinguished Young Alumni award.
Tom, like the rest of the Ricketts family, is involved in numerous charitable causes. He lives in Wilmette, Ill., with his wife, Cecelia, and five children.
