The Naperville Park District, created in 1966, is an independent municipal agency that serves a community of more than 140,000 residents. As a leader in providing leisure experiences that enhance the quality of life for the community, the District maintains and operates more than 2,400 acres overall comprised of more than 130 parks and facilities and serves approximately 60,000 participants each year through more than 1,500 recreational, arts, sports and environmental programs and events for all ages. Included within the District’s operations is the Fort Hill Activity Center, Knoch Knolls Nature Center, Springbrook and Naperbroook golf courses, the Riverwalk Café, a multitude of sports courts and fields, two inline skating and skateboarding facilities, the Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower, the paddleboat quarry, historic Centennial Beach and the Naperville Riverwalk. The District publishes the quarterly Program Guide that highlights the many programs, services and events that the District offers each season.
